All the colours blend together easily, they don’t crease or smudge and stay in place all day (Lancôme boast a 12 hour time frame). We found that was about right. The shadow is highly pigmented and effortless in application. If you want more intensity and a dramatic look, all the shades can be applied wet.

We liked the ability to create all degrees of intensity from barely naked with a hint of shimmer, through to the classic smokey sultry look.

Two applicators are provided in the compact and they work well. However, we prefer to use a brush especially for blending and evening out. Using a primer or concealer gives a great base to work on.
