It’s 15th-century Crusader architecture we see today, has stood the test of time. It has be used as a palace, prison, garrison and museum. A visit offers spectacular views of the two bays.

The Underwater Archeological Museum is not to be missed. It is situated within the castle. The relics on display date from the 16th century BC to the 16th century AD. The collection of unique finds is very comprehensive. Amazing restoration work has been undertaken of shipwrecked vessels and their contents.
