Getting to downtown DC is made so easy with the Circulator Bus.   It has 5 routes around the city one of which serves Georgetown and you can connect to all the other routes at Union Station that is a great landmark in itself.  The bus serves all the main attractions for the princely sum of $1 or 50c for seniors! The routes are color coded and very easy to follow.  And, the driver will wait for you if you’re running to catch it!

Connect here for the National Mall Route (Red), to visit all the major attractions.  It’s a great way to get your bearings.  The stops are clearly marked and conveniently positioned.  Easy to follow maps are provided on the buses.
